BESPOKE HANDMADE QUAKER KITCHEN

A farmhouse in the Cotswolds was our starting point, for this bespoke kitchen. With beautiful beams, flagstone floors and chocolate box charm; we incorporated our handmade bespoke Quaker Kitchen, hand painted in Farrow & Ball Railings and completed with luxury brass cabinet hardware from Armac Martin.

The brief was to design and create a versatile space with zoned living, and having areas for cooking, dining, and socialising.

The central island, with its Unistone Terreno Quartz worktop is a focal point, and sitting centrally in the room overlooks all the areas of the kitchen, to provide social dining, whilst having practical storage built in.

The cooking area is elegant and functional. The Antique Mirror Splashback is on trend and paired with the colourful Aga, sits perfectly in this country kitchen. The pot tap is a fantastic addition to have on hand for ease when you are cooking too!

The breakfast cupboard is exactly that. Everything you would need for your first meal of the day is kept in here. It is a dresser unit with folding doors, to house a kettle, coffee machine, toaster, microwave, breadboard, plates, and cups. By keeping these all in here, the worksurfaces are clear and the kitchen feels less cluttered.

Moving round to the home bar, this is fun and is great for entertaining. It is timeless and follows the theme of painted wooden cabinetry; but contrasted with an oak butcher’s block counter. The pendant lighting and glass fronted cupboards, decorated with glasses, cocktail shakers and ice buckets add to the glamour.

We have to say, as far as kitchen design goes, this kitchen has it all, and along with the final additions of a fitted pantry, Belfast Sink and Perrin & Rowe Taps, it ticks all the boxes for a farmhouse kitchen, and makes it what kitchen dreams are made of.
